Friends, family and community said goodbye Thursday to Giovanni “Mike” Robinson, who was cruelly gunned down during a golf trip to Wisconsin.
Robinson, 32, a new father who had just shot his first hole-in-one, was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting after leaving a Sheboygan Falls watering hole last week.
He died at the scene.
On Thursday, lines stretched around the block at the Thornton Funeral Centre in Oshawa, where services were held for the popular Stouffville native, CTV News reported . Inside, the overflow room was also packed.
Officiant Keith Callahan decried the shooting as a “senseless act.”
