A truck, which disconnected power for houses in Sydney's south-west, has been recovered after it dramatically tipped over a suburban embankment.
Local police said the vehicle had been loading a full skip bin in Wigens Ave, Como, near Sutherland, about 1.50pm Friday when the truck then rolled backwards and went over the embankment.
Emergency Services attended and managed to secure the truck to prevent damage to nearby houses.
Sutherland Shire Police Area Command have since released vision of the truck standing up almost vertically on the side of a hill.
In a statement shared to Facebook, Sutherland Shire Police said one person sustained a minor injury, but did not require hospitalisation.
Ausgrid disconnected power temporarily to assist in safely removing the truck.
