UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (Nebraska Athletics) - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team went on the road and dominated No. 16 Penn State, 25-6, 25-15, 25-13, at Rec Hall on Friday night.

Nebraska (13-0, 3-0 B1G) hit a season-high .437 and held Penn State (7-6, 1-2 B1G) to -.114. It was the second-best defensive effort by Nebraska in the rally scoring era (since 2001).

Penn State’s 34 total points scored in the match was its fewest points in a match since 2001. PSU’s six points in the first set marked its fewest points in a non-5th set also since 2001.

The Nittany Lions were swept at home for the first time since Sept. 24, 2022 against Michigan. The Huskers earned their first sweep at Rec Hall since Sept. 22, 2017.
