NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Unless you live along the North Shore, you probably won't experience the most amazing Saturday this weekend.
For starters, we'll see a Coastal Flood Advisory continuing through Sunday at 6 p.m. along with a Small Craft Advisory:
The coastal flooding may be seen in lower St. Bernard, lower Plaquemines, southeast St. Tammany and eastern Orleans parishes, and southern Hancock county in Mississippi.
Minor coastal flooding up to 2-feet may be seen during high tide which could potentially flood parking lots and roadways so if you plan on driving please remember “turn around don’t drown.”
As for the rough waters, that will be particularly experienced at Lake Borgne, coastal Mississippi, Breton Sound, Chandeleur Sound and all the open Gulf waters east of the Mississippi Ri
