The Baltimore Ravens are mourning the loss of former defensive tackle Arthur Jones.

Jones, who was 39, played in Baltimore from 2010 to 2013 and was a crucial contributor to the team’s Super Bowl XLVII championship run.

“We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Arthur Jones,” Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta said Friday afternoon. “Arthur had a remarkable ability to brighten any room he entered. His wide smile, boundless energy, and unwavering positivity lifted up everyone around him. He embodied kindness, respect, and enthusiasm, always showing his love for family, teammates, and friends.”
