WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - New microchip scanning stations have been installed across Wilson County, according to the county’s Emergency Management Agency.

WEMA and the Wilson County Animal Control (WCAC) have installed four new microchip stations throughout the county, and they are set to be available to residents in the next few days.

“We kind of pooled our resources and designed one,” said WCAC Director Steve Gatlin. “They are for Wilson County residents, but anyone in Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, wherever they have found a dog, they can take a dog to this chip scanner station and scan for the chip.”

The new stations are located in the Watertown, Lakeview, Gladeville and Lebanon areas:

Station 2: 160 South Statesville Ave., Watertown

Station 4: 6171 Saundersville Rd., Mt. Juliet
