ISLE — Verndale’s Lincoln Finck scored from 3 yards to put the Verndale Pirates on the board in a 20-6 loss to the seventh-ranked Mille Lacs Raiders Friday, Oct. 3.

Finck led the Pirates with 76 rushing yards on 14 carries. Joe Elfstrum added 41 rushing yards and caught a pass for 22 yards.
