The song in question, “ Opalite ,” begins with an immediate reference to the pop star’s previous relationships before seemingly getting more specific and potentially calling out Kayla Nicole , who the 35-year-old NFL star dated from 2017 to 2022.

Fans think the lyrics, “You couldn’t understand it / Why you felt alone / You were in it for real / She was in her phone / And you were just a pose,” are about the on-air sports journalist.

This theory stems from a recently resurfaced video of the former couple bickering, with Kayla filming throughout.

Toward the end of the clip, Travis can be heard saying “Oh, my God. Get off your phone.”
