One of two women sought in the theft of over a dozen luxury sunglasses from a Sunglass Hut in Evesham Township last month has been arrested, police announced Friday.

The incident happened around noon on Sept. 29 at the businesses located on South Route 73 and when officers arrived, an employee told them that the two women entered the store wearing hats and face coverings, according to a statement from the Evesham Township Police Department.

They began stealing sunglasses, and when the employee tried to call the police, one of the women sprayed her with bear mace before fleeing, the department said.

Investigators determined that between 18 and 20 sunglasses valued at more than $10,000 had been stolen, police said.

One of the suspects was identified as Allesha Taylor-Jones, 29, of Delawa
