BATTLE CREEK - The expectations for Coldwater football in 2025 was to have a turnaround season, complete with a winning record and a spot in the playoffs.

Its bounceback season took another positive step with a 33-6 win at Pennfield in Interstate 8 Conference action on Friday, Oct. 3.

After not reaching the playoffs or winning more than four games in a season since 2020, Coldwater’s victory over the Panthers puts the Cardinals at 5-1 and on the verge of being a playoff candidate.
