According to the latest map from the U.S. Drought Monitor, much of Alabama is marked in yellow or orange, indicating moderate drought conditions.

Local farmers are feeling the effects of the drought, but they are taking measures to survive.

Charles Caine, a farmer in Alabama since the 1970s, said, "Everything's just, without the rain, it's hard."

He explained that the drought is impacting his business, forcing him to seek alternative resources for water.

"It doesn't come, so we have to get it from another resource," Caine said.
