GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — ArtPrize 2025 is coming to a close, with award ceremony festivities at Studio Park downtown Friday night.

The $100,000 public vote grand prize was awarded to 'Arras' a glass sculpture by Mark Lewanski of Portland, Michigan.

The art was displayed at the Gerald R Ford Museum.

More than 110 thousand votes were cast this year, one of the highest totals this decade.

Lewanski said that he wanted his first ever ArtPrize entry, to be a statement on how interconnected we are as a society.
