Iowa City High has dug itself into a hole through the first six weeks of the Iowa high school football season and sits in an unenviable position in the Class 5A standings.

Every City High loss this season has been by double digits, and their latest blunder came in the form of a 56-7 defeat to Southeast Polk on Oct. 3.

The Little Hawks fell to 0-6, while the Rams improved to 4-2 on the season.

"Most physical football team we've played by far," said Iowa City High coach Mitchell Moore. "We've obviously played a gauntlet of schedule, but there wasn't another team that had just physically the stability that they had across the front line."
