NEW ALBANY, Ind. —
Jeffersonville defeated rival New Albany 42-27 Friday night, extending it's win streak in the series to two games.
After a scoreless first quarter, running back Benji Rice broke free for the first touchdown of the game that gave Jeff a 7-0 lead. The Bulldogs responded with a rushing touchdown of their own by Jamal Chambers after the defense recovered a fumble.
The second half saw a combined fifty points scored.
Jeff snaps a two game skid and looks to carry momentum into next week's matchup when they host Columbus East. New Albany is still on the hunt for it's first win of the season when they visit Seymour.
