3Asbury Park, NJ – The undead will rise again this weekend as the annual Zombie Walk returns to the boardwalk on Saturday, bringing with it thousands of costumed participants and horror fans. Since its start in 2008, the event has become one of Asbury Park’s most recognizable traditions, drawing crowds dressed in elaborate zombie makeup and staggering through the city in a spectacle of the living dead.

The walk, which once held the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of zombies with more than 10,000 participants, continues to attract visitors from across New Jersey and beyond. Local artists will be on hand to provide professional makeup for attendees, while bands, vendors and themed activities will surround the main procession.
