Manchester United and Ruben Amorim have been sent a warning ahead of their Premier League clash against Sunderland.

United will host Sunderland at Old Trafford in their final fixture before the October international break. Amorim's role as United head coach has been the subject of intense speculation and debate in the days leading up to the clash against the Black Cats.

The defeat to Brentford last weekend has seen Amorim be heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit in the weeks ahead.

There have even been reports that the likes of Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Fabian Hurzeler could be candidates for the United job if Amorim was to leave.
