Manchester City are making a Friday night habit of contract announcements.
Savinho became the latest to put pen to paper on a new deal, signing a six-year deal just a matter of weeks after seemingly being open to joining Tottenham Hotspur.
That move was blocked by City and the Brazilian is back in the first team fold after missing the early weeks of the campaign through injury.
He has now agreed fresh terms, following on from Rico Lewis and Nico O'Reilly earlier this season. All three new contracts were confirmed on a Friday night.
City have the nucleus of a squad tied down to at least 2028 but there remain a few contract questions to answer between now and then. John Stones' deal expires in the summer and a decision must be made on his future in the coming weeks and months
