Sam Konstas has endured a tough start to his Sheffield Shield campaign after being dismissed early in NSW's clash with Western Australia.

The 20-year-old opener was given out lbw for 4 off 25 balls after a searing in-swinger from Joel Paris, who caught the prodigy in front.

Konstas was dropped on the same score just an over prior to his dismissal after an inside edge was shelled by wicketkeeper Joel Curtis.
