One score was all the Chambersburg football team needed in a 6-0 Mid-Penn Commonwealth Division victory over Carlisle Friday night.
The deciding score came at the 2:14 mark of the second quarter when quarterback Cam Green completed a 20-yard pass down the right sideline to sophomore Malachi Tasker.
It was a defensive battle that saw both offenses hurt themselves with penalties. The first half featured 180 yards in penalties (6-50 Carlisle, 12-130 Chambersburg), according to reporter Ed Gotwals.
