The Centre has sanctioned four new Kendriya Vidyalayas for Telangana following efforts by former Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao. The schools will come up in Kothagudem, Mulugu, Wanaparthy, and Jagtial, raising the state’s KV count to 39.

Khammam: The efforts of former Khammam MP Nama Nageswara Rao have yielded results as the Centre recently sanctioned four Kendriya Vidyalayas to Telangana.

The MP played a significant role in the sanctioning of Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), crucial for the development of the education sector after the reorganisation of the districts. He wrote letters and appealed to the Union Human Resource Minister seeking to set up new KVs in Telangana.
