CHENNAI: Chief minister MK Stalin said the state govt is taking the observations and guidelines issued by the Madras high court “with utmost seriousness” in the wake of the Karur stampede in which 41 persons were killed, in the campaign of actor and TVK president Vijay. "We will frame a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in consultation with experts, political parties, activists and the public. This will serve not just Tamil Nadu but as a model for the entire country,” Stalin tweeted.
