A Coventry man has been charged with conspiracy to murder after another man was seriously injured in a city shooting. Nicholas Buckley has appeared at Birmingham Magistrates' Court.

Buckley, from Coventry , was arrested after the incident on Far Gosford Street on September 13. A man was found with a gunshot wound and is continuing to recover from his injuries.

Police remanded 35-year-old Buckley for a hearing at Birmingham Magistrates' Court today (October 4). Yesterday, a 35-year-old man was detained by North Wales Police in connection with the shooting.
