The Delhi Police has arrested a person who committed an embarrassing act during a court's virtual hearing. The accused participated in the video conference wearing only undergarments and kept drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes.

Despite being warned multiple times by the court to leave, he did not exit and continued to disrupt the hearing. The incident took place on September 16. The accused had joined the video conference under the name Aakib Akhlaq.

After the incident, Anshul Singhal, the record keeper of Tis Hazari Court, lodged a complaint with the police. Police investigation revealed that to avoid arrest, the accused kept changing his location using several fake email IDs.
