When the resident ghost in Aggie’s new house does not follow her rules, she retreats to the forest for some peace and quiet. After the ghost follows her, they decide to have a game of tic-tac-toe to determine its fate. Playing for so long with no winners, they go back to the cottage where Aggie installs more rules. When the ghost decides to leave, she misses his annoying presence and tricks him into coming back from time to time. With hauntingly beautiful watercolour illustrations, this not-so-scary tale about compromise and acceptance reminds readers it’s okay to set limits and still be friends.
