Udupi, Oct 4: As part of the ongoing Social and Educational Survey organized by the Karnataka State Backward Classes Commission, four teachers from Udupi taluk have been suspended for failing to comply with their assigned duties.

Government High School Shettibettu Brahmavar assistant teacher Venkatesh P B, Volakadu Government High School teacher Surekha, Volakadu Government High School teacher Ratna, and Udyavara PU College lecturer Prabha B, were appointed as enumerators for the survey. However, the said teachers refused to accept their appointment orders despite repeated attempts, including telephonic communication.
