SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Welcome to the weekend! As high pressure moves eastward and away from the region, we will still receive its effects! Mostly sunny skies, above-average temperatures, and low rain chances are in store for this weekend!

Highs today will be in the mid-to-upper 80s, with a couple of areas hitting the lower 90s. The humidity should remain comfortable through today for the most part.

Sunday’s highs won’t change by much, but the humidity is expected to rise to make it feel a bit muggy. This will be due to an area of low pressure moving northwest towards the ArkLaTex from the Gulf! It brings a higher chance for rain through the day on Monday.
