UK drivers of popular vehicles face a so-called "Land Rover tax" in a major city. Drivers of popular vehicles could be slapped with a levy in Cardiff as the Welsh capital plans new parking charges across the border.

The so-called 'Land Rover tax' refers to larger parking charges for SUVs and other larger vehicles. Under a big shake-up, Cardiff Council will consider changes at a cabinet meeting on Thursday, October 16.

The council's transport cabinet member, Dan De'Ath, said the changes will help create a "stronger, fairer, greener, and more accessible future" for Cardiff.
