COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police arrested three people in connection with a car theft on Friday.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), Aurora police were investigating a stolen Gray 2006 Toyota Corolla on Sept. 30.

Police said the car was stolen in Aurora and was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

CSPD officers found the vehicle in the area of East Fountain Boulevard and South Chelton Road on Friday. A marked police vehicle tried to stop the Corolla; however, police say the vehicle sped away.

Detectives conducted surveillance and found the stolen car near the intersection of Boggs Place and Preuss Road.

Officers say they contacted three people: the driver, Tianna Quin, 25, and passengers Mandy-Lee Miller, 26 and Lela Edwards, 55.
