27,500 Drivers Trained In 2 years: Malerkotla centre becomes Punjab’s hub for skilled driving

Chandigarh, October 04, 2025: A significant initiative of the Punjab Government, Regional Driving Training Centre (RDTC) Malerkotla is changing the driving landscape of Punjab and encouraging a new generation of safety conscious skilled drivers.

Punjab Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar while disclosing this said that the Regional Driving Training Centre Malerkotla is a very unique initiative to increase the employability of the youth and make the roads safe for all.

He said that this center' great achievement lies in the fact that 27,500 drivers have been successfully trained here in a period of about two years.
