A cheeky fox has gone viral on social media for its washing line antics in Glasgow.

In a clip shared with Glasgow Live, the fox can be seen picking up a sock in a Knightswood garden, while staring at the video taker and sock owner, Beth Chisholm, right in the eye.

Then, in an unexpected twist, the fox decides to drop the sock and hilariously "do the toilet" on top of it, much to Beth's shock.

With Beth in stitches, the fox then casually looks away, as if nothing happened.

Speaking with Glasgow Live, the 24-year-old said the local fox population often leave 'gifts' in the gardens, but don't usually come close to people.

She said: "I went out to get my washing and I saw the fox at the bottom of my garden, so I took my phone out to film it because usually they are never that close an
