For the first time in MLB history, the Tigers and Mariners will face off in the postseason. Game 1 is set for 8:38 p.m. ET at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Wash.

The last few weeks have been a rollercoaster ride for Tigers fans. Detroit had a healthy lead in the AL Central until a 1-11 stretch put its playoff hopes in jeopardy. The Tigers snuck into the final AL Wild Card spot and eliminated the Guardians in a stressful three-game set.

The games will only get more intense moving forward. The Mariners had the third-most wins in the American League, and Seattle C Cal Raleigh is in the midst of a career year.
