LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
The Kentucky Court of Appeals has reversed a controversial ruling involving a convicted felon and the Second Amendment.
In 2022, Jecory Frazier was indicted for being a felon in possession of a firearm and tampering with physical evidence.
Frazier asked for the firearm possession charge to be dismissed, arguing it was unconstitutional under the Second Amendment.
In 2024, a judge ruled in Frazier's favor, but now, the Kentucky Court of Appeals has overturned that decision, saying there is no support for the judge's opinion that the charge is unconstitutional.
