COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police arrested a shooting suspect after a brief pursuit early Saturday morning.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers received a report at 1:06 a.m. of a shooting in the 2400 block of North Union Boulevard.

When officers arrived on the scene, they say they found a female with a gunshot wound to her abdomen.

Police got a description of the shooter and identified the associated vehicle, which was last reported driving southbound from the business.

Officers found the vehicle and the suspect at 1:21 a.m. When officers attempted a traffic stop, they say the shooting suspect drove away.
