The attorney for former LSU wide receiver Kyren Lacy revealed new details about the young man’s death, shining a new light on the tragic situation.

Lacy, 24, was accused of being involved in a fatal crash in Louisiana that killed 78-year-old Herman Hall and injured two others in December 2024. In April, Lacy was found dead of an apparent suicide after a police pursuit.

Lacy’s attorney, Matt Ory, told HTV 10 on Friday, October 3, that new evidence that seems to contradict the alleged circumstances of the December crash.

Ory presented security footage from a nearby gas station that shows Lacy’s car about 70 yards behind the vehicles that were involved in the accident.
