BOSTON —
Massachusetts is welcoming its first ATM for your furry, four-legged friends.
TD Bank in Copley Square is extending its reach to "Automated Treat Machines," or ATMs.
The bank held an event Saturday morning, with plenty of dogs enjoying the new technology.
The idea stemmed from the first one at a TD Bank in Philadelphia.
Pups in Boston now get to "withdraw" a treat.
The Animal Rescue League also attended the event with dogs of their own.
"We were walking by, we came to spend some time in the city and saw the TD Bank partnership with the Animal Rescue League, and stopped by and had a big surprise today," said Jaclyn Smeaton, a Boston resident.
