Hamas and Israel will hold indirect talks in Cairo on Sunday and Monday aimed at securing the release of hostages and detainees, Egyptian state-linked media reported. According to Al-Qahera News , delegations from both sides “have begun moving to launch talks in Cairo tomorrow and the day after, to discuss arranging the ground conditions for the exchange of all detainees and prisoners, in accordance with Donald Trump’s proposal."
The talks come as US President Donald Trump praised Israel for temporarily halting its bombing operations in Gaza, urging both sides to finalise a hostage release and peace agreement.
“I appreciate that Israel has temporarily stopped the bombing in order to give the Hostage release and Peace Deal a chance to be completed. Hamas must move quickly, or else all b
