Amber Davies has been flooded with messages from her boyfriend, family and friends as she celebrated more than her second week on Strictly Come Dancing.

The actress and West End star wasn't originally taking part in the BBC One dance contest this year, but was drafted in at the eleventh hour to replace an injured Dani Dyer.

Following the airing of the pre-recorded launch show last month, Dani revealed she had 'fallen funny" and has fractured her ankle while rehearsing alongside her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin.

The injury meant that she could no longer compete in the 23rd series of the dance show, and fellow former Love Island winner Amber was brought in to replace her with just 24 hours' notice.
