Karwar: The ongoing state-wide socio-educational survey in Karnataka has so far covered 2,44,201 households in Uttara Kannada district till Saturday. The survey, conducted by the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes, aims to gather comprehensive data on the social and educational conditions of people across the state.

According to official sources, the survey work in the district has made steady progress, achieving 74.71 percent completion so far. The survey is being carried out simultaneously in both urban and rural areas to ensure an accurate assessment of the social and educational status of all communities in the district.
