HICKORY, N.C. – Police arrested a man following an investigation into a shooting at a bar in Hickory on Friday night that left one person dead and another injured.

It happened around 11:15 p.m. at 1129 2nd Street NE in the back parking lot of Windy City Sundries.

When officers arrived, police said they located two victims, 24-year-old Corbin Davis and 23-year-old Tanner Hutchinson, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. Hutchinson was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police identified 23-year-old Lamonte Ramseur as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with murder.

Police said Ramseur, Davis, and Hutchinson all knew each other.

Ramseur is being held at the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond.
