Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 took a good opening in Hindi, collecting Rs. 18.5 crores nett. The film enjoyed the national holiday advantage on the opening day, but since yesterday was a working day, the action drama witnessed a drop in collections.
However, Kantara: Chapter 1’s Hindi version still managed to collect in double digits, earning around Rs. 13 crores nett. The film needs to register solid jumps today and tomorrow to post a good total over the weekend. Despite clashing with Varun Dhawan’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Kantara: Chapter 1 secured a good screen count in North India.
