District police and CRPF officials extended humanitarian aid to tribal families in flood-affected villages of Cherla mandal, Kothagudem. With support from Nestlé, groceries were distributed to 120 families.

Kothagudem: The district police and CRPF officials distributed essential commodities to Adivasis living in flood-affected villages in Cherla mandal in the district on Saturday.

Bhadrachalam ASP Vikrant Kumar Singh, CRPF 141 Bn Commander Sebastian, Cherla CI Raju Verma and staff visited Battigudem, Battinapalli and Ramachandrapuram villages on the borders of Chhattisgarh. Nearly 120 families were provided groceries with the help of Nestle Company.
