HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Aly Griggs is a social worker at New Visions Counseling in Evansville.

Back in August, Griggs was recognized by the Indiana chapter of the National Association, and awarded Social Worker of the Year. She thanked her co workers, family and especially her clients for their trust in her.

Griggs received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. She has been with New Visions Counseling since 2018.

Girggs currently sits on the University of Southern Indiana's social work advisory board.
