A man has been charged over the death of Graham Wright.

The tragic Rangers fan disappeared on August 25 and his body was found at Rubha Dubh near Firkin Point on September 13.

On Friday a suspect was arrested by police in connection with his death, with Police Scotland confirming he had been charged on Saturday night.

A statement from the force said : "A 50-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 38-year-old Graham Wright.

"His family has been informed and they are being supported by specially trained officers.

"The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 October, 2025.

"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal and extensive enquiries remain ongoing."
