The New England Patriots will be without one of their best defenders for the team’s Week 5 “Sunday Night Football” showdown against the Buffalo Bills.

Starting linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson missed two practices during the week due to a knee injury and was ruled out on Saturday for the primetime contest.

“K’Lavon Chaisson has been downgraded to out for #NEvsBUF ,” the official account of the Patriots posted on X.

ESPN’s Mike Reiss named a few players who could be called upon on Sunday in place of Chaisson.

“DE K’Lavon Chaisson (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday night,” Reiss posted on Bluesky. “Could thrust Keion White into starting lineup, with Anfernee Jennings and Elijah Ponder also on the depth chart.”
