KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — A Mascot man has been charged following a road rage shooting in northwest Knox County on Wednesday.
According to court records, Charles Williams, 67, is facing a charge of reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon.
A General Sessions docket stated that officers responded to a road rage incident involving a red Jeep and a white Truck near the intersection of Callahan Drive and Old Callahan Drive around 4:30 p.m. An officer spotted the jeep in a parking lot along Callahan Road and the officer spoke with Williams there.
The document stated that Williams allegedly told the officer that he was involved in a road rage incident with a white Dodge Ram on I-75. He reportedly said the Dodge had been tailgating him but did not hit him. The docket continues to say
