Edinburgh passengers caught the moment police stormed a Ryanair flight as it landed in the city, with an individual escorted from the plane.

The incident is understood to have happened on flight FR2970, which was due to leave Tenerife on September 29 at 7.30pm. Its actual time of departure was 9.08pm, and it eventually landed in Edinburgh in 1.30am.

While the plane was in the air, the pilot made an announcement regarding the behaviour of some of those on board. When they landed in the capital, police were waiting on the runway and boarded the plane before an individual was escorted off.

One passenger who was recording himself on the flight said: "The pilot has just said if it continues he might have to divert.
