CULLMAN, Ala. (WHNT) — A Major League Fishing pro angler has been indicted on multiple charges, including manslaughter and assault, in a multi-boat crash that killed three on Lewis Smith Lake in Cullman County in April.
On Thursday, Flint Davis was indicted on three counts of manslaughter, two counts of first-degree assault, reckless operation of a vehicle/vessel, failure to follow boating rules of the road and boating without a boater safety certification.
The Cullman County District Attorney, Champ Crocker, along with Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Kyle Stephenson and Marine Patrol Chief Matt Brooks, held a news conference on Friday regarding the indictment in the crash.
He was arrested on Thursday night and posted bail, Crocker said.
