Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers might miss Sunday's Indianapolis Colts game with a knee injury.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport shared on Saturday afternoon that Bowers was "trending toward not playing" in the Colts game despite optimism earlier in the week that he could suit up and compete.
Bowers' absence would be a huge blow to a Raiders team that targets him frequently in the passing game. It would also leave fantasy owners looking for a quick Sunday replacement at the starting tight end spot.
While it's always possible that Bowers plays on Sunday in a late decision, fans shouldn't count on him for Sunday.
We'll see if anything changes before Sunday's kickoff in Indianapolis.
When would Bowers return?
It's hard to say. The team may be cautious with Bowers' injury if he misses on Sunday.
