New Delhi, Oct 4: The All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) has expressed gratitude to the Delhi government for resolving an 18-month-old issue related to the disbursement of cash assistance to Kashmiri migrants on the pattern of the Jammu and Kashmir government.

In a statement, AIKS thanked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Cabinet Minister Ashish Sood for addressing the concerns of the displaced community in Delhi-NCR.

AIKS president Ravinder Pandita, who had earlier submitted a detailed memorandum to the Delhi leadership, said the issues of income criteria, Aadhaar bifurcation, and release of Assistance for Maintenance and Relief (AMR) had been long pending.
