LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Limestone County Sheriff's Office has recovered dozens of items after arresting a man on Thursday.
According to LCSO, on Thursday at around 7:30 p.m., Deputy Nick Gibson saw a suspicious vehicle near Highway 251 and Bethel Road showing a switched license plate.
When the driver of the vehicle, Brandon Oneal Mitchell, 36, of Ardmore, noticed Deputy Gibson, he quickly parked and ran off.
After a short chase, LCSO said Mitchell refused to listen to commands and resisted arrest.
However, LCSO said Deputy Gibson was able to catch Mitchell safely. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed three catalytic converters, burglary tools and drug paraphernalia.
